		Mark is just back from Madrid working with flourish creative again where we turned a bullring into a drive in cinema for the global premier of Cristiano Ronaldo’s tested to the limit documentary and the launch of Castrol EDGE.

		As Olympic fever grips the country Mark is working with innovision events on the ‘Follow the torch’ tour for Lloyds bank – a tour going to 85 locations around the UK encouraging members of the public to nominate their friends and local hero’s as torch bearers. A branded exhibition trailer with a video booth London taxi to help get the message out!

		Mark was also in Singapore with flourish creative working on a spectacular projection mapping and live performance event for Castrol, working with some of the best local talent, mixing the traditional Asian disciplines of Tai Chi and Lion Dancing with a local rapper, B-boy dancers and a children’s choir! A night to remember!

		A very busy month for us, for the second year Mark and this year Sam got to work with Nexan Technologies on their NextStep 10 event, this year it was held at the Castillo Hotel Son Vida in Mallorca. The main plenary room provided several challenges – the main one being a very low ceiling height but we still managed to provide 2 x floor to ceiling screens and a selection of relay screens around the room. The Exhibition proved to be a popular part of this event again and also proved a great place to host drinks.

		A new client for us, Sporting Equals held a very successful event at Twickenham stadium, a perfect venue for their Leader board conference. For this event we provided a venue finding and production support service, we also got to use a lot of large scale print for this event and look forward to the next one.

		Mark has just finished another fantastic project with flourish creative and Bentley Motors, the internet launch of the new Continental GT, a first of its kind event where guests got to view an interactive experience of the new model via 6 live steaming cameras showing some great interior and exterior views of the car. After one week of 24hour streaming the car appeared for its first physical viewing at the Paris motor show.

		We would like to congratulate the board and shareholders of Tomkins plc on the sale of the company to Onex and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Sadly this means that there will be no more AGM’s for us to work on but it is a huge next step in the life of the company. All the best for the future.

		Mark is back from a very exciting 6 weeks working in South Africa on the World Cup with Flourish Creative and Castrol. Building the ‘challenge Ronaldo’ game in the shadow of soccer city in Johannesburg and the VIP guest experience in Cape Town culminating in the final event back in Johannesburg where an amazing night of live performance and mapped projection wowed the VIP guests ahead of the world cup final. flourish creative are one of the best experiential agencies in the business and Mark is loving working on various projects with them.

		Another very successful Tomkins AGM at One Great George Street in Westminster. This is the 10th year we have worked with Tomkins plc and the second year at this venue. The stage worked so well last year fitting into the oak paneled room that we used the same one again this year. Providing a rear projection screen allowed us to maximize the screen size but still have a generous space for the presenters to move around on stage. Plasma screens in the refreshments room allowed for an overflow space for delegates including live camera relay, power point and hand held radio microphones gave the option to ask questions to the board. A great venue and a great client.

		Mark has been working with George P Johnson and Cisco in the Middle East helping to create the award winning Cisco Networkers Bahrain. Working with local suppliers we turned a patch of ground next to the F1 circuit into a very successful keynote tent including a Musion presentation allowing one of the presenters to be in a studio in San Franciso but still appear and be interviewed on stage! Walking to work every morning across the starting grid of an F1 track is a great way to start the day!!

		We're back in the UK after a very successful NexStep 09 conference with Nexsan Technologies in Berlin. These guys are leading the field in green technology. Images and more information to follow in the gallery soon. Berlin is the place to be at the moment; just after the 20th anniversary celebrations it’s a hot town with some great venues. We have also cemented a great relationship with a new Berlin technical supplier so are even better prepared to work with you on your events in Germany, along with the rest of Europe.

		Mark has just finished the 'Meet the Winners 09' tour, celebrating the England cricket team winning the Ashes. Some of the players came along for interviews and a Q+A session with the public at the Robin Hood Marathon in Nottingham and the Great North Run in Newcastle. There were also lots of cricket skills related activities for the public to explore, a great way to encourage new fans! 		BBC Headroom Mark has just returned from a rather rainy field in Cambridge where he was working with Innovision on the BBC Headroom roadshow. Headroom is part of the BBC community project promoting good mental health to all ages, including Tai Chi and Yoga workshops, a clay making workshop, drum workshops, a library and the most amazing chill out zone with headphone trees and bean bags! BBC Headroom and Innovision are using the most amazing structure from Domemode that created interest and visitors from all over the site.

		Tomkins AGM 09 We have just completed another successful AGM with Tomkins plc. This year’s event was held at One Great George Street, the home of the Institute of Civil Engineers, a stunning venue in the heart of Westminster with beautiful wooden panels. The main challenge this year was working in a smaller room but still creating a strong stage set with a top table for 9 people. This was achieved using one of Frames flex sets with a rear projection screen that was tailored to fit the width and height of the room. Two 65” plasma screens were used with a live camera relay in the refreshment room next door in case of additional shareholders arriving. Due to the constraints we used mainly LED lighting and made the room look amazing, sadly due to the theft of my camera later that day you will have to take my word for it, but the board were very happy with the event and we are looking forward to next years event already.

		BlackBerry Storm launch Mark has just finished working with George P Johnson and RIM on the launch of the BlackBerry Storm, a multi media event including custom animation video, music and amazing branded visuals from VJ’s Loomis & Jones and a choreographed presentation that ran alongside the videos. The London event was held at the exclusive Movida nightclub in Mayfair with the lovely Lisa Rogers, with additional events in Paris and Milan. The animated video was localized for each location and we worked closely with the presenters to ensure that the message got across to all the guests. A series of very enjoyable evenings all round, and a very clever handset!

		This years Tomkins plc AGM was held in the Churchill Auditorium at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference centre where we created a new space by installing a new stage set, along with a fantastic lighting rig and additional drapes creating a very successful presentation for 200 in a huge room meant for many more. We have been working with Tomkins now for 8 years and look forward to many more years to come. Also congratulations to Denise Burton on her first AGM as Company Secretary and a happy retirement to Norman Porter.

		We got to spend a very interesting evening working on the launch of ‘The Social Intrapreneurs: A Field Guide for Corporate Changemakers’, with SustainAbility and IDEO. Corporate change makers work inside big business, often against the prevailing status quo, to innovate and deliver market solutions to some of the worlds most pressing social and environmental challenges. A fascinating evening where we got to hear what these amazing people have been doing from the inside of companies such as BP and Nike. 		Mark has been working with Fisher Productions on the launch of the ‘summer look’ range for Christian Dior. An empty building in Covent Garden was converted into ‘Studio Dior’ for the Beauty press to view the spring/summer range of products. Zones included a backstage area with makeup artists, a private cinema, an ice sculpture feature and a bridge over a water pool amongst others. A very successful day with 170 journalists attending. We look forward to working with other production companies in the future.

		Mark Brattle was flown out to Boston to see the American leg of the e-dialog event that we are hosting in London next week. It was the first opportunity to meet with the head office team and also to forge a good relationship with MARS productions the US event company. Before he flew home he did some sightseeing and got the impression that he’s quite famous in the Boston area! Get a grip mark!
